>picot edging pattern : baby lace

I went up to the Homestead this weekend for a meeting of the Utah Hemophilia Foundation (I have Von Willenbrand’s Disease (VWD), sort of similar to hemophilia).

It was lovely in the mountains with all the fall colors. While we drove up, I was playing with thread and made this super easy edging. Nothing hard but thought others might like it, too. It would be lovely on little baby slips, and on under clothing as well as outer clothing.

I used size 20 thread (the reds) and size knit cro sheen (vintage thread, the same yellow thread I used before). Hook size depends on what thread you pick to use. I used size 10 steel, but up to size 5 steel would have worked just fine, too.
