My youngest daughter wanted this kit and since her sisters would be away we decided it would be her special treat to make on her own. A Haunted Halloween Cookie Castle. I don’t know he doesn’t look scary to me just real sad I think it is the door that does it.

Here is a small sample of a project I am working on. I like the colors for fall. Sort of pumpkin pie and spice.

>Roasted pumpkin seeds

* 1 1/2 cups raw whole pumpkin seeds
* 2 teaspoons butter, melted
* 1 pinch salt (I like sea salt better flavor)


I wash and let the seeds dry over night (remove all the pumpkin fibers)

1. Preheat oven to 300 degrees F (150 degrees C).
2. Toss seeds in a bowl with the melted butter and salt. Spread the seeds in a single layer on a baking sheet and bake for about 45 minutes or until golden brown; stir occasionally.
